From First-Time Manager to Leadership Expert
Erik’s leadership journey began at 20 when he ran a residential painting franchise. By 29, he was managing a large team many of whom were his former peers. Navigating the complexities of leadership at such a young age, he quickly realized that technical expertise wasn’t enough.
He needed to refine his ability to communicate, inspire, and create alignment within his team. Erik worked with a ‘coaching coach’ who helped him develop a leadership approach rooted in effective communication.
This experience shaped his passion for leadership development and ultimately led him to create the Language of Leadership framework, an approach that simplifies leadership into clear, actionable steps.
Today, Erik helps leaders across industries improve their communication, empower their teams, and foster cultures of trust and accountability.
